Job Description:
We seek an outgoing and enthusiastic intern whose primary focus will require Marketing / Public Relations work on client events. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting incoming clients, answer phone calls, and help with company mailings. Additionally, you will be maintaining client files, running miscellaneous errands, as well as supporting and assisting the rest of the team as needed.
Position will also require a few after hour evenings and Saturdays for client event set-up and attendee registration. MUST be 21 years of age. 15-25 part time hours available.
Our goal is to eventually fill this position full time.
Essential Job Requirements
Primary Tasks:
Manage and Organize Company Client Events
Maintain FFP public relations and marketing themes
Maintain Company Filing System
Organize / Setup for Meetings / Maintain Materials Needed
Assist Financial Planners with Client Work
Other Tasks:
Converse with Media / Prospects / Clients
Greet Clients
Help with Company Client Mailings
Interact with local and national media
Organize / Setup regular media contacts
Record New Clients in Database
Miscellaneous Office Errands
Enrolled in Junior Year of College
Seniors preferred

Job Requirement:
Required Experience
No minimum work experience required, although some practical work experience that would apply to this job is preferred.
Must be proficient in Word, Excel. Prefer some experience / competence in Powerpoint, Publisher and/or database programs.
