Job Description:
Position reports directly to Controller. Student in this position will work closely with Controller and Accountant to carry out typical bookkeeping duties including input of daily sales summaries, generation of monthly reports, accounts payable, and preparation of journal entries for period close. In addition, the candidate will be required to perform some administrative duties including answering the telephone, filing, and mail sorting/processing. Person should exhibit energy, a desire to excel, and an owners’ mentality. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Good oral and written communication skills.
Basic accounting knowledge. Additional Skills Helpful for the position:
Experience with Quickbooks accounting software.
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Publisher, or Presentation software
