Job Description:
This competitive program provides a six to eight-week summer internship in Washington, D.C., for a highly qualified rising junior or senior from a Kentucky college or university. The internship will be served in the office of a member of the Kentucky congressional delegation or an office of the executive branch. The internship includes a stipend of $3,000 to cover living expenses while in Washington.
Applicants should possess 1) superior academic achievements and intellectual development; 2) effective oral and written communications skills; 3) capacity and willingness to undertake a share of routine office work; 4) ability to work well with others; 5) outstanding trustworthiness and sound judgment; and 6) strong initiative. |
